FRP purification tower is an environmental protection device with glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) as the main material, used to treat industrial waste gas and waste liquid. Its core function is to remove pollutants through physical or chemical means to achieve the purification of gas or liquid.
Basic information
Definition: The tower body and internal components are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic. By using principles such as absorption, adsorption, and neutralization, dust, harmful gases (such as sulfides, nitrogen oxides, formaldehyde, etc.) in waste gas or pollutants in waste liquid are removed. After meeting the standards, they are discharged.
Production process: Mainly two processes, hand lay-up molding and winding molding, are adopted. The specific process is as follows:
Hand lay-up molding: According to the size of the tower body, a mold is made. The glass fiber cloth and resin are laid layer by layer on the surface of the mold by hand. After curing and demolding, the internal components are assembled.
Winding molding: Through a dedicated winding machine, glass fiber yarn is wound around the mold at the designed Angle, and resin is simultaneously impregnated. After heating and curing, the mold is removed. The tower body produced by this process has higher strength and better sealing performance.
Core performance characteristics
Extremely strong corrosion resistance: FRP material can withstand various corrosive media such as strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents. It does not rust or corrode and is suitable for treating highly corrosive waste gas and liquid in industries such as chemical engineering, printing and dyeing, and electroplating.
Lightweight, efficient and easy to install: With a density only about 1/4 of that of steel, the tower body is light in weight, convenient for transportation and installation, and can reduce civil engineering and construction costs. Meanwhile, the internal structure is reasonably designed, which can enhance the purification efficiency.
Long anti-aging life: After adding ultraviolet absorbers and anti-aging additives, it can be used outdoors or in harsh environments for a long time without deformation or cracking, and its service life can reach 15-20 years or more.
High purification efficiency: According to the type of pollutants, different adsorbents (such as activated carbon) or absorption liquids (such as alkaline solutions) can be matched. The purification efficiency for different harmful gases can reach 85%-99%, which can meet strict environmental protection emission standards.
Low maintenance cost: No need for regular anti-corrosion painting. Internal components are easy to replace when damaged. On a daily basis, only the concentration of the absorption liquid needs to be checked and the filter screen cleaned, etc. The maintenance workload is small and the cost is low.
