Product Introduction
Pultruded profiles are made using the pultrusion molding process. Pultrusion is a continuous production method for glass fiber reinforced plastic profiles with uniform cross-sectional shapes and dimensions. The process involves: under the traction force produced by the molding equipment, adding materials (such as glass fiber roving, glass fiber mat, etc.) which are impregnated with matrix materials (such as unsaturated polyester resin, etc.) according to a specific configuration, then passing through a mold system where they continuously cure and form, resulting in a continuous output of smooth-surfaced, dimensionally stable, and extremely strong glass fiber reinforced plastic profiles. The main applications of pultruded profiles include: insulating support components, urban rail three-track protective covers and supports, antenna poles, high-voltage cable trays, high-voltage power operation rods, generator radiators, stairs and handrails, operating platforms, corridors, oil storage tanks, distribution boards and distribution rooms, drainage systems, berths and underwater identification markers, pressure rods in trains and cars, corner plates, highway guardrails, sound-absorbing panels, anti-glare panels, filler supports in towers, filter plate supports, frame materials for cold storage, etc.
Introduction to Pultruded profile production
The production is carried out through pultrusion, which is a continuous process method for manufacturing fiberglass reinforced plastic profiles with uniform cross-sectional shapes and dimensions. Under the traction force produced by the forming equipment, reinforcing materials (such as fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) untwisted roving, glass fiber continuous mat, etc.) are impregnated with matrix materials (such as unsaturated polymer resins) in a specific configuration form and then continuously cured and formed through the mold system, thereby obtaining FRP profiles with smooth surfaces, stable dimensions and extremely high strength.
Core Strengths
The circumferential and axial strength are balanced, with excellent bending and torsion resistance. Under heavy load, it does not deform.
2. Resistant to corrosion and rusting, suitable for various corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salt fog, and seawater. It requires no maintenance during long-term use.
3. Insulation is non-magnetic, without eddy current loss, no risk of electrical sparks, and has excellent electrical safety performance.
4. The inner and outer walls are smooth, resulting in low fluid resistance. This design can meet both the requirements of structural support and medium transportation.
5. Light in weight, easy to process, capable of on-site cutting and drilling, convenient for installation, and with low construction costs.Structural Characteristics
The material is constructed with a continuous glass fiber, laid in both circumferential and axial directions. It is fully immersed in the resin system and undergoes one-time pull-extrusion curing through a high-precision mold. The entire structure is dense without any delamination or bubbles. It features a standard circular symmetrical cross-section, with uniform wall thickness that can be precisely controlled. It can be customized for different inner and outer diameters. It supports the embedding of reinforcing ribs and pre-installed components, and can be tailored with specific structures. The length can be customized as per requirements. The cross-sectional force is evenly distributed, without stress concentration, and the overall structure is stable and resistant to deformation.
Focusing on Performance
It features high strength in both directions, excellent insulation and corrosion resistance, resistance to torsion and bending, and resistance to weathering and aging.
It is suitable for heavy-load support, insulation protection, medium transportation, and long-term outdoor use, maintaining stable performance within a wide temperature range. It is resistant to creep, impact, and freeze-thaw, meeting the requirements for long-term continuous and stable use in industrial scenarios.Applicable Scenarios
It is widely used in various industrial and civilian applications that require insulation, anti-corrosion and high-strength support, such as power insulation poles, photovoltaic/wind power support structures, chemical pipeline supports, municipal guardrail posts, sports equipment components, agricultural greenhouse frameworks, offshore aquaculture piles, and communication tower components.
