Performance characteristics
Lightweight and high strength: The material density is typically 1.8-2.1g/cm³, approximately 1/4-1/5 that of steel. However, its circumferential tensile strength is ≥300MPa, and its specific strength is higher than that of steel, making it convenient for transportation and installation.
Excellent corrosion resistance: The main components are glass fiber and resin, which can resist the erosion of various corrosive media such as acids, alkalis and salts, and are suitable for corrosive environments such as chemical engineering, environmental protection and water treatment.
Good insulation performance: FRP material is a non-conductive material that can effectively isolate current and can be used in transmission lines, cable Wells and other facilities in the power, electronics and other fields.
Wear resistance: The smooth surface makes it less prone to dirt accumulation, reducing the resistance of pipelines. It also has excellent wear resistance and can be applied in pump and pipeline systems in industries such as mining and chemical engineering.
Good temperature resistance: It can operate stably in a certain high-temperature environment, and some FRP tees can withstand a temperature of 200℃.
Production process
Molding process: After mixing glass fiber and resin in proportion, they are placed in a mold and formed under certain temperature and pressure. This process features high production efficiency and good dimensional accuracy.
Winding process: Through winding equipment, glass fiber yarn is wound onto the core mold according to specific rules, and then solidified to form. It is suitable for large-diameter pipeline systems.
Hand lay-up process: Glass fiber cloth and resin are alternately laid on the mold by hand, and then cured and formed. It is highly flexible and suitable for non-standard customized products.
